Description:
The Speech and Presentation Center is a student-run, on-campus department dedicated to helping students improve their presentation and public speaking skills for class assignments or professional presentations. As a member of SAPC, staff members will assist with appointments and office duties, create and give presentations to promote the center, and help facilitate events throughout the semester.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work at least 3 hours per week in the center, and must attend weekly staff meetings, plus events promoted by the center
- Must have good communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Must be able to demonstrate skill or experience in public speaking and/or presentations
- Must have knowledge of powerpoint and google slides
- Must have a good team working attitude
- Completion of COMM 1010 is highly recommended
